In the afternoon we finally reached our goal – El Gouna. The town is a tourist resort built in the middle of the desert on the Red Sea shore. The city is built of artificial lagoons in order to get a lot of water around and the opportunity for rich Europeans to put their luxury yachts, among other things.

El Gouna is also known as Venice of the Red Sea

Our hotel, we stayed at Three Corners Ocean View, located at the tip of a headland with a perfect location on the Red Sea.
